We are currently recruiting for a Credit Analyst based out of our Monroe, NJ corporate headquarters.  The Credit Analyst will be responsible for managing the overall credit and collections program for their assigned accounts while remaining in compliance with our credit policies and practices as well as working with our sales organization to recommend credit solutions that will improve revenues and reduce financial risks.  

Primary Job Functions

  • Manage customer accounts through direct involvement with both the customer as well as internal resources.
  • Drive collections of customer balances.
  • Demonstrate the ability to balance the need to collect with sales goals and relationships.
  • Review customer accounts and determine potential credit risks.
  • Monitor and maintain Lien/Bond rights.
  • Negotiate and secure arrangements for payment with delinquent accounts.
  • Strive towards personal and team goals by achieving DSO, cashflow and % current targets
  • Quickly respond to customer requests by phone and/or email.
  • Identify and escalate issues of concern.
  • Maintain Customer Masterfile and Job Account files ensuring data integrity.

The ideal candidate will exhibit a high level of judgement, the ability to effectively communicate and interact professionally while dealing with difficult situations, and have the ability to handle confidential and sensitive business information. This candidate will have a minimum of five years of credit experience in a business-to-business environment preferably in distribution, construction, building products or a related industry.  A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. Individuals considered for this position will be highly productive, organized, detail oriented and capable of prioritizing in a fast-paced environment.
