Job Description

Position Purpose:

Consult and sell digital strategies throughout OneSource and to our Customers.  Promote digital solutions in customer segments and train OneSource internal teams on digital capabilities.  Collaborate with manager to create new digital solutions based on customer feedback. Create new customer opportunities by leveraging digital solutions.  Must become an expert on all existing and future digital solutions.

Essential Job Functions:

Through previous background and experience, the candidate must be able to demonstrate, with or without an accommodation, the ability to:

  • Generate new business for the digital team through past, existing, and new customers.
  • Collaborate and develop strategies with your manager on how to approach different clients to sell digital solutions.
  • Effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organization including OneSource staff, suppliers and customers.
  • Competencies include excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
  • Make sound decisions, valid conclusions, define and address problems by establishing all the facts and reach out to appropriate management teams for clarification and approvals.
  • Demo and sell the OneSource Mobile App, Website, eLink, and any other digital solutions that have been/will be created for customers.
  • Train internal teams on digital capabilities.
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Sales Promotions
    • Manage the full sales cycle from start to finish.
    • Call upon customers with Account Managers to sell and integrate our digital solutions in their business model.
    • Diligent follow-up on customers in a respectful manner to foster and maintain relationships.
    • Collaborate with Account Managers to offer extensive digital solutions to customers.
    • Work with Digital Manager on developing relevant sales promotions for customers and internal sales teams.
  • Digital Training
    • Responsible for training internal OneSource teams as well as customers on all digital capabilities.  This includes but is not limited to:  Webinars highlighting digital developments, onsite training with customers on digital solutions, follow-up with customers and internal teams on digital competency.
  •  Customer Development
    • Develop an understanding of customer business systems and how to integrate OneSource digital solutions into said business systems.  Help customers use digital solutions to become more efficient in their day-to-day activities.
  • Event Management
    • Represent OneSource Digital Business at internal and customer events.  This includes presenting digital material, interacting with customers at events, and creating digital promotional material for events.
  • Digital Development
    • Helps create development roadmap for website based on customer feedback for improvements on the website.
    • Assist Digital Department with special projects, events, and promotions as needed.
    • Additional Requirements:
  1. Excellent organizational skills.
  2. Effectively communicates/interact with all levels of staff.
  3. Possess basic technical know-how to communicate with our development team.

Qualifications:

            Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) in a business-related field
  • 2+ years of Marketing or customer-facing Sales experience
  • 1+ year event management experience            

Equivalent combination of Education and Experience

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of sales in a commission-based role
  • Demonstrate ownership of the sales cycle from product ground to closing the sale
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and with little supervision
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal written/oral communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools such as Wrike, SalesForce Marketing Cloud, etc.
  • Creativity and the ability to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable information
