As a member of the CDC Warehouse Organization you will be responsible for maintaining the CDC inventory integrity, researching order shortages, item discrepancies and inventory discrepancies and assisting the Sales team in ticket maintenance when necessary.  Duties and assignments may include the following functions; inventory adjustments, interaction with Purchasing, Sales, and CDC personnel as well as interaction with personnel located at other branches.  Some customer interaction, both internal and external, will also be required.

The person in this position is exposed to all elements that exist in a warehouse environment where the noise level is usually moderate.  The position by nature will require the individual to engage in some physical activity such as lifting/moving of product and walking about the warehouse to perform stock checks/other assorted tasks.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Daily research of shortages and CDC Alerts issued on orders and transfers.
  • Ticket and stock maintenance with regards to shorts and required changes from Sales.
  • Interaction with Purchasing, Sales, Regional Admins and all CDC/branch personnel/departments.
  • Stock checks and inventory maintenance/adjustments.
  • Daily logging of research findings for the purpose of Warehouse Metrics.
  • Accurately complete paperwork, documentation and data tracking in a timely basis.
  • Regular interaction with Transportation department and drivers.
  • Answering job queues on issues for sales and regional admin teams.
  • Other projects/duties as needed.
Required Skills


  • Ability to organize, multi-task and research in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification/knowledge on operating warehouse machinery (motorized pallet jacks, stock pickers, order picking carts) preferred.
  • Product knowledge is desirable.
  • Good understanding of data entry.
  • Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Good math and communication skills.
