The Pricing Analyst loads and maintains all relevant pricing records including regional, branch, and customer specific pricing and rebates for all Irby branches. This position is a data intensive role that will grow to become a key ally for our operations management and sales teams as they strive to provide accurate, market level pricing to our customer base.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Loads and maintains customer specific pricing files in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Performs maintenance of customer specific pricing.
  • Creates and maintains branch price matrices.
  • Develops a collaborative working relationship with branch sales and operations.
  • Loads and maintains Special Pricing Agreements (SPAs) and vendor rebate files.
  • Files special negotiations and rebates.
  • Creates and analyzes manual price override reports.
  • Provide reporting and analytical support for pricing projects.
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and at least four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Fundamental understanding in pricing structures and techniques
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to manipulate and interpret large data sets.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and set priorities.
  • Ability to articulate the value proposition of and coach other associates through the pricing process.
