Job Responsibilities:

  • Research, validate, and contact target account customers to increase target account sales and share.  Measure and grow new business in these market segments
  • Support Business Development with customer outreach
  • Complete a high volume of outbound calls per day
  • Enter, track, follow up, & expedite sales orders, quotes & sales leads
  • Build/Update customer information; Update our CRM, email, and contact information
  • Participate in the negotiation, renewal, and maintenance of pricing contracts
  • Introduce the customer base to our digital solutions and other value added solutions; Government contracts, Small Business, iSAM, Energy Solutions, NCAS, Tool, Lighting controls, switchgear, NCL, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications & Expectations:

  • Personal computer skills and knowledge of:  Excel (Advanced), Outlook, Word, and web navigation
  • Strong communication skills:  written, verbal, and listening
  • Strong customer service focus (Internal/external customers & Vendors)
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to reprioritize and work with interruptions.
  • Previous sales experience and product knowledge in the electrical field is preferred
  • Proficiency in Eclipse is preferred

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • General office work environment, mainly seated at a desk; heavy phone use
  • Fast paced and ability to multi-task
  • Light lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Packing and shipping of promotional materials
  • Usual 40 hour work-week Monday through Friday however based on business needs evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required
  • Requires regular and reliable on-site attendance
