CapitalTristate has a position available at our Baltimore location.

Position:   Area Operations Manager

Responsibilities: The Area Operations Manager supports sales and operational functions within their assigned area, to effectively manage the operations side of the business and adapt efficient processes throughout the organization; manage inventory through purchasing, shipping, receiving, tracking, warehousing and storage, turnover and re-ordering; provide overall leadership to drive flawless execution, culture, and company values. 

 

Requirements:  

  • 4-year college degree with an emphasis on business and finance, and/or a combination of relevant knowledge through job related experience & training
  • Minimum five years related experience in the electrical distribution or related industry 
  • Experience with supervising employees
  • Sales background and understanding of customer needs
  • Strong human relations skills including the ability to listen, influence and motivate.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to solve practical problems with limited information.
  • Working knowledge of Eclipse Information System and Microsoft Office
  • Character compatible with the CapitalTristate Mission and Values
