The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Collections Associate to contact Industrial customers with delinquent accounts, initiate appropriate action and be responsible for collections and various problems that occur with regard to customer accounts.  The Collections Associate is responsible for collections of new accounts, customer complaints, un-applied cash and other account adjustments with significant collection activity in the above mentioned group.

All offers are contingent upon an acceptable credit report check and criminal background check.  Vallen is a drug free workplace.

*****The office location for this position will be relocating to Peachtree Corners in May/June.  The current office is located temporarily in Alpharetta, GA*****

Qualifications & Benefits

  • Minimum 2 years of B2B collections experience required. 
  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Must have experience using MS Office, specifically MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communications
  • Solid interpersonal skills and ability to clearly communicate in person, as well as on the phone.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance is preferred.
