Digital Solutions Manager

The Digital Solutions Manager plays an active role in advancing the growth of Digital/eCommerce Business; key metrics to define success include ecommerce channel penetration (web shop, system to system, and mobile), active/new customer penetration, stock and direct penetration and margin expansion.

• Train Sales representatives how to uncover customer needs and solve those needs with Sonepar digital tools, such as customer processes for projects, bids/quotes, purchasing, pricing and availability, research, punch-outs, order inquiries and invoicing
• Meet regularly with Branch and Sales leadership to set sales and targets, focus efforts based on segmentation and data, and manage customer adoption plans
• Facilitate problem resolution through the Sales and Branch teams as customers encounter challenges with digital solutions
• Provide consulting on matching customer needs with solutions during regular customer visits and calls, often accompanied by a Sales representative
• Be the voice of the customer and Sales for eBusiness improvement opportunities; contribute to prioritization and design of eBusiness solutions
• Participate in quality assurance tasks by joining business acceptance testing efforts and post go-live reviews
• Work with Sales Teams and Corporate leadership to identify and remove business and technical barriers
• Partner with Marketing to drive content and campaigns that support customer acquisition and sales penetration
• Ensure the online catalog reflects the product selection desired

• Understands how digital tools and the flow of information fit within the customer processes
• Passion for customer service and building relationship
• Sales/Marketing background
• 2 Years' experience in electrical distribution or similar field (prefer inside/outside sales or account management) preferred
• Well informed about the digital landscape
• Adept at training and presenting in front of groups
• Excellent written/verbal communication and customer relationship skills
• Results driven, self-starter and metrics focused with customer satisfaction a priority
• Exposure to common B2B capabilities such as electronic catalog management, electronic invoicing, list management, inventory management, etc
