Summary:

We are looking for Automation/Drive Specialist to be the technical resource for Siemens Automation products.  This Specialist maintains relationships and develops new customers by visiting.   If you’re self-motivated, love building relationships with clients and looking to work with an industry leader, we want you to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance to customers and use industry and product knowledge to support and build sales
• Handles technical questions and objections with customers
• Secure business from existing and potential customers by means of visiting the customer’s facility
• Quote on customer requirements
• Serve as a key point of contact for customers
• Maintain our high standards of quality and customer service at all times
• Provides selection and design advice
• Able to differentiate products/solutions
• Supports outside Sales with customer orders
• Determines type of merchandise desired by becoming familiar with products sold and utilizing vendor catalogs and other reference materials

Qualifications:

• 2 – 5 years’ experience working in the Automation or Electrical Distribution industry with an emphasis on Drive and Motion products
• Knowledge of industrial electrical products and applications
• Knowledge of Control and Automation products to include, PLC’s, industrial sensors and networking products
• Knowledge of Siemens products
• Skilled in selling products & services, negotiating sales, pricing and terms
• Ability to effectively communicate information and present ideas and solutions to customer
• Outgoing personality that works well with others
• Maintains strong customer service skills and inter-personal communication skills
