Eclipse Job Management Specialist

Summary:

The Eclipse Job Management Specialist is responsible for providing application training, support and best practice development for the Sonepar Productivity Application - Job Management/ DTS and the Eclipse ERP.  The primary focus of this role will be to implement, support and integrate the use of Job Management and DTS (Direct thru Stock) and all Sonepar Productivity Applications at all Sonepar Operating Companies. This role will work closely with cross functional teams such as Sales, Operations/Logistic, Warehouse, Accounting and IT to effectively integrate the Sonepar Productivity tool solutions into each affected job function and train employees and support teams on best practices.

This position requires a strong communicator with a team-player attitude that will serve as both an individual contributor and leader on various projects. When leading projects, the successful candidate will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle and insuring the quality and timeliness of all deliverables.

 Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct Application Training
  • Process and Training Material Development and Documentation
  • Define, Document and Publish Best Practices for all affected job functions
  • Oversee and manage Job Management portal
  • Oversee DTS (Direct thru Stock) and Eclipse ERP
  • Participate in and lead IT Projects
  • Application and process training incorporating technology solutions
  • Identify how available software tools can be employed to support and improve existing processes
  • Coordinate and conduct process and application training
  • Act as a promoter and driver of change and process improvement
  • Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and help to develop process improvement plans
  • Collaborate with Application Development and Product Management teams to enhance and develop existing and new applications

Required Skills:

  • Experience with Eclipse ERP is REQUIRED
  • Software Implementation, training and support experience required
  • Distribution or supply chain experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to travel 75%
  • Strong Analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams to effectively communicate and coordinate process improvement projects for both technical and non-technical team members
