Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Specialist position performs various marketing to support the organization’s marketing policies, objectives and initiatives. This role will coordinate /maintain the overall Digital strategy for NorthEast. The Digital Marketing Specialist’s role is to design, create, and deliver marketing programs to support expansion and growth of the company services and products through digital platforms. This role requires a proficiency in graphics, web advertising, social media and web content management with an emphasis in market analysis, brand management and digital media marketing


  • Develop Training & Communications such as Podcasts & Videos to drive e-Commerce Sales and promote capabilities and value-add services.
  • Develop, launch and manage digital content including social media platforms, business platforms and company pages.
  • Developing social presence and advocating brands effectively
  • Customer Database management.
  • Stay current on emerging digital trends and make recommendations to the Marketing Director for changes/additions to NorthEast’s digital marketing strategy as needed. e.g. Google updates and changes in algorithms
  • Knowledge in key areas of marketing (SEO, social media, content marketing, email marketing, PPC and SEM)
  • Coordinate and implement a wide array of marketing communication projects with responsibilities that include design/production of marketing and sales materials, advertising and promotions, direct mail, email, public relations and brand awareness, special events management, trade show and training/seminar coordination may be required as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Required Skills

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge managing and optimizing corporate websites, including defining information, content, features, and functionality. Wrike knowledge a plus.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, digital production and innovative digital campaigns.
  • Solid understanding of web metrics, digital analytics, with the ability to generate, analyze and interpret data
  • Design skills required. Working knowledge of HTML, and all Microsoft Suite applications. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Framemaker, DreamWeaver, HTML, HTML 5, CSS
  • Creative-thinker, detail-oriented, multi-tasked, organization skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
Required Experience

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent 2 years’ experience in the field or in a related field
  • Proven experience delivering a variety of digital assets, including rich media online ads, micro sites, and social media applications.
  • Experience managing successful social media campaigns, and a solid understanding of social marketing. Hootsuite experience a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is helpful
