GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The Enterprise Program Manager for Sonepar USA is responsible for Project Management, Implementation, Process Development and Scrum leadership of the cross-functional IT development teams.  The primary focus of this role will be to implement, support and coordinate cross-functional projects and to also maintain, communicate and standardize the development portfolio for the executive team.

This position requires a strong communicator with a team-player attitude that will serve as both an individual contributor and leader on various projects. When leading projects the successful candidate will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle and insuring the quality and timeliness of all deliverables.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • Demonstrate track record of leading large programs/projects, utilizing agile project management process to lead strategic initiatives through all phases to successful implementations
  • Work with business teams and IT development teams to implement technology solutions that meet project objectives
  • Drive resolution of issues in a timely manner so project timeline is not impacted
  • Communicate regular project status to all stakeholders
  • Responsible for tracking budget and issues for assigned programs/projects.
  • Partner with multiple business functions and IT development teams, as well as external vendors to shape business requirements and provide ongoing communication throughout project execution
  • Lead effort with IT and business team members through each stage of the software development life cycle
  • Plan and communicate with business, IT Leadership, and other key stakeholders regarding status, milestones, issue escalation and issue resolution
  • Identifies new opportunities to drive system improvements and simplification in support of productivity
  • Create overall project plan that tracks critical project milestones/tasks.
  • Develop effective communication strategy across projects and stakeholders.
  • Ensures process rigor and adherence to program methodology standards
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Required Skills

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong Analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Detailed understanding of Agile and Scrum project and program management methodologies
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams to effectively communicate and coordinate process improvement projects for both technical and non-technical team members

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years software project management and agile project leadership
  • 2+ years data of executive program and portfolio (multiple project coordination)
  • BA/BS in Business, Accounting or Information Technology (preferred) OR
  • Equivalent combination of Education and Experience
