Could you be our next Implementation Project Leader?

 

The Opportunity

You will perform project management duties and oversee assigned account implementations; participate in and deliver lean projects that raise quality and increase speed for the Vallen implementation process. You will assist with development and presentation of proposals to prospective new systems accounts for Vallen implementation; assess current state and prepare proposed timelines, scope of work documents, etc.   Upon business award, you will plan, develop and manage the implementation timelines using project management software. You will assist with defining customer specifics and SOPs as it pertains to the designated customer and servicing site. You will identify, plan and coordinate activities and/or teams required for the implementation of local system accounts. You will prepare and present customer process flow-charting and analysis and coordinate activities for customer catalog set up and ensure its integrity. You will develop, deliver and/or coordinate communications with the Vallen project team and customer. You will collaborate with the National Accounts team to determine future customer expectations and develop tools, processes, and programs as may be required to assure Vallen is a World Class provider of systems selling solutions. You will assist with training region and site personnel. You will research and identify process improvements, computer programs, etc. to improve delivery stated implementation objectives. You will support other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Benefits

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 3-5 years applicable experience. Applicable experience should include
  • Working for a distributor of MRO products in sales, operations or purchasing
  • Working in a manufacturing/production environment, preferably in the storeroom or tool crib
  • Working in a purchasing/inventory management position in an industrial environment replenishing stock materials; or
  • Project Management knowledge; experience using Smart sheet preferred
  • 6 Sigma Yellow or Green Belt preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ISO Standards
  • Demonstrated knowledge of QS9000 Quality Standards
  • General knowledge of SAS, Excel, databases, Word, Power Point, and MS Project
  • Solid organizational skills and strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
