Job Responsibilities:

  • Enter, track, follow up & expedite sales orders, quotes & leads
  • Support Outside Sales and Inside Sales Team
  • Contribute to both inventory and gross margin improvement opportunities
  • Contribute to negotiation, renewal, and maintenance of pricing contracts
  • Participate in Service Center sales programs and product training
  • Counter Sales for Residential & Commercial Contractor and Industrial Market
  • Counter and other sales/support duties as directed
  • Identify and communicate inventory recommendations
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications & Expecations:

  • Experience in the electrical industry
  • Must have inside sales and/or counter sales experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work directly with customers and suppliers
  • Able to work independently, handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and detail oriented
  • Computer literate in Adobe, Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Able to utilize internet to get product information from manufacturer websites for submittal information
  • Ability to work with manufacturer provided software for pricing and product information
  • Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT)
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in NCE order entry software


Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Frequent computer and phone use
  • Standing and lifting in support of counter sales
  • Some warehouse environment; cutting wire products, lifting conduit
  • Usual 40-hour work-week Monday through Friday however based on business needs evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required
  • Requires punctual regular and reliable on-site attendance.
