Could you represent us in the Marketing & Events Role?


The Opportunity

You will coordinate Vallen events/tradeshows with stakeholders and ensure successful execution of all aspects of the events. You will support regional events planning and execution assisting marketing leaders. You will schedule and run weekly status update meetings to for event planning status with stakeholders. As well, coordinate with nominated project owners and regional associates to assist in event execution. You will work with internal/external customers to develop event strategy, success and goals. You will interface with event host to coordinate onsite presences and branding. You will track and manage event expenditures and create reporting for management. You will interface directly with suppliers to coordinate joint marketing activity/onsite presence, associate training sessions and Coop programs. You will coordinate approvals, ordering and production of Vallen merchandise. To support marketing initiatives, you will implement social media programs and media calendar and content development. You will be a resource to support the sales team, by managing collateral requests and the distribution of marketing collateral (via media library). In addition, manage shared services and/or agency designers for creation for materials.

Qualifications & Benefits

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 2+ years of applicable experience. Applicable experience should include:
    • Prior experience planning and executing corporate events at/or under budget
    • Graphic Design software knowledge is a plus
    • Proficiency with MS-Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Visio
