As a Product Manager in the Southern California, you will be responsible for the sale of power distribution products (MV/LV Switchgear, Switchboards, Panelboards, Busway, MCCs) through direct channels. This includes developing and maintaining key relationships at medium and large industrial accounts as well as industrially focused electrical contractor accounts. Equally as important, the Product Manager will also serve in a technical support role to the internal salesforce at OneSource.

The candidate shall be skilled in assembling complex project package quotations to include products as necessary to furnish a complete bill of material to our customers. The markets to be served include W/WW, Industrial, Utility Substations, Geothermal, and Government.

The candidate will serve the greater Southern California market. OneSource has many Southern California Branches to work out of.

Required Skills
  • Take-off switchgear projects based on customer and/or engineer developed electrical one-lines and specifications

Required Experience
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • A minimum of 7 - 10 years’ experience in the sale of power distribution equipment (MV/LV Switchgear/Switchboards).
  • A strong track record of negotiating medium and large project orders, successfully developing new contacts, maintaining current relationships with major contractors throughout the sales cycle and maximizing client potential is a must.
  • Experience generating accurate project proposals utilizing MV/LV present a complete bid package is required.
  • A self-motivated individual with a high level of professionalism, excellent communication, presentation and negotiating skills are also required.
  • Ideal candidate will be known in local market electrical equipment market and will have developed a trust with a core group of existing customers.
