Position Summary:

This position is responsible for advancing the growth of our eCommerce sales by working closely with our external and internal customers.


  • Drive Growth of eCommerce Sales
  • Drive Sales in OEM and industrial products for mid-level markets
  • Develop external OEM customers through cold calling and business development
  • Work with internal sales to identify and target new customer opportunities for eCommerce
  • Promote eCommerce internally
  • Responsible for maintaining all content and products on website/mobile app
  • Responsible for all marketing content on website – work with marketing for monthly/quarterly promotions etc.
  • Set up and review new online registrants
  • Set up and maintain other eCommerce platforms such as eLink, eFill, EDI, and Punchout
  • Recognize, set up, and help manage VMI opportunities
  • Train customers to use eCommerce Tools
  • Monitor eCommerce tools for errors, downtime, etc. Communicate with proper channels to remedy issues
  • Solve customer problems with website/mobile app
  • Act as expert support for field and customers on E-Business solutions
  • Test new features and functionality of website/mobile app, provide Sonepar with feedback
  • Post content to social media
  • Develop digital marketing campaigns, work with Sonepar to execute
  • Report sales figures to management


  • Understands how digital tools and the flow of information fit within electrical contractor processes including customer processes for projects, quotes, ordering, repeat purchases, inventory management
  • Proven track record of solutions selling by methodically uncovering customer needs, articulating features and benefits, and closing the deal
  • Adept at training and presenting in front of groups. Sales training experience a plus
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and customer relationship skills
  • Technical proficiency for common B2B capabilities such as eCatalog management, e-invoicing, specialized pricing, shared product lists, managing inventory, etc
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
