Sonepar USA Sales & Operations Development Program

The Sales and Operations Development Program is a fast-paced intensive program utilizing a balance of both on-the-job and classroom training. The program provides the associate with a foundation of knowledge, and gives them exposure to all of the different facets of the business. This 12 month rotational program includes exposure to site and corporate operations, sales strategies, processes, procurement, project management, and the Sonepar USA business philosophy. The core rotations of this program are:

  • Warehouse/Logistics
  • Counter/Storeroom
  • Projects & Quotations
  • Inside/Outside Sales

Each associate will be assigned a mentor, a buddy, and given assignments and special projects to work on throughout the duration of the program. Associates are also given a topic assignment to present at the end of the program to the Sonepar Senior Leadership. This program will begin on June 4th, 2018.

Required Skills

Basic Qualifications

  • Expect to graduate in Spring 2018 with an undergraduate degree
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
  • Possess a desire for a career in sales and/or operations
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task, be flexible and adapt to change
  • Must be willing to relocate
