Position Summary:
Actively participates in the Intern Trainee program. The Intern position is a fast-paced, intensive opportunity with both on-the-job and classroom training. Employees are offered a significant foundation of knowledge required by any candidate seeking the challenge of future leadership positions within World Electric. The position conveys operational policies and procedures by helping the employee become more familiar with standard site and corporate operations, sales strategies, and the World Electric business philosophy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Include the following. Other duties may be assigned)
• Inbound product receiving
• Stock put-away
• Order pulling and packing
• Order preparation
• Shipping via delivery truck and common carrier
• Delivery
• Returned good processing
• Counter sales
• Counter day marketing and execution
• Cycle counting and inventory reconciliation
• Customer service order quotation and processing
• Customer meetings and job site visits
• Customer presentations ( internal practice only)
• Attend Sales Meetings
• Meet with local vendors
• Participate in Sales calls with Account Reps

Education and/or Experience:
• Electrical Engineering Degree or Electrical Knowledge/Experience preferred

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as training instructions, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

• Strong Analytical and Strategic Thinking Skills
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to interface in a customer responsive manner
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, and volume.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 Immediate supervision over a unit, section or department where the majority of the time is spent assigning, reviewing, checking work and eliminating ordinary difficulties. Recommends candidates for hiring, termination; prepares and conducts performance appraisals and salary reviews, and applies company policies.
 Direct supervisor of a department, section, unit or group involving responsibility for results in terms of cost, methods and personnel. Full accountability for hiring, discipline, discharge, performance appraisals, salary administration, etc.
