Vendor Management Analyst

Sonepar USA is an independent family-owned company with global market leadership in B2B distribution of electrical products and related services. In the USA, we are represented by 16 locally managed electrical and industrial distributors with over 700 locations and coverage in all 50 states.

Summary:

The Vendor Management Analyst role will be responsible for the vendor management, program management, and technical integration design related to all external systems integrations with the Eclipse ERP platform. For the vendor management they will be responsible for all contract negotiations and SLA’s around the contracts ensuring that the 3rd party is meeting their commitments as well as ensuring the quality of the work provided. On the program management they will be responsible for ensuring all projects are clearly chartered with success metrics and milestones that they then manage the teams to on a daily basis and communicate with stakeholders around progress and risks. Finally, on the technical design they will be responsible for the overall quality and responsiveness of the design ensuring that the solutions in place are meeting the needs of the “customers” (Operating Companies, Digital, IT, and Shared Services)

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage Integration Vendor Relationship(s):
    1. Define SOPs, SLAs, escalations to contract, compliance (PCI, etc), account review
    2. Ensures business processes (Sonepar/OpCos) align with contract
    3. Manage Liaison Alloy transition (vendor and customer) and responsible for reporting out progress to the business, as appropriate
  2. Manage Customer and Vendor EDI/eProcurement IT Roadmap:
    1. Define new capabilities, transactions and process development
    2. Ensure Roadmap aligns with SUSA eProcurement Program Manager (Whit’s) roadmap
    3. Ensure new functionality aligns with business process (Sonepar /OpCos) and assist with change management plan when appropriate
  3. Co-own eProcurement Partner Relationships (from an IT alignment perspective) with SUSA eProcurement Program Manager (Whit).  Example: (Conexiom, Supplier Solutions)
  4. Manage Vendor Standards/Compliance Program:
  5. Create EDI Vendor Compliance Scorecard
  6. Manage any IT resources that are dedicated to the eProcurement/Vendor EDI space 
  7. Co-Manage Regional eProcurement Specialists with SUSA eProcurement Program Manager (Whit):  Creates the trifecta of eProcurement (eProcurement Specialist, business eProcurement Manager, IT eProcurement Manager)

 Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience integrating B2B with Vendors and Customers
  • Knowledge of the distribution space
  • Deep experience with Liaison's Alloy platform
  • Proven history managing outsource resource pools and project plans
  • Proven example of implementing integration services to improve operational efficiencies and reduce errors
  • Extensive X12 and cXML knowledge
  • General HTTP, FTP, Curl, etc. experience
  • In depth knowledge of Integration mapping solutions
