Job Description

Could you be our next VMI Specialist?

The Opportunity

 You will ensure adequate inventory of materials and products in accordance with inventory cycle, since JDPP is seasonal. You will conduct daily inventory analysis to solve inventory problems. You will develop and implement inventory control procedures. You will coordinate and manage daily physical cycle counts. You will Stock and re-order stock to meet customer needs and also to avoid out of stock and overstocking items. You will manage inventory documentation to accurately record the quality, quantity, type, style, and any other characteristics of the inventory. You will manage medical supplies that have expiration dates, removal of out of date items and ensuring those are kept at a min. You are responsible for finding new and cost saving items, gathering data and summit reports/presentations to Safety manager/ Department managers for evaluations. You will deliver all approved items to person responsible for writing PO, then suppling the same data to CS maintaining a good working relationship with CS by communicating and dealing with concerns or problems, such as a delay in an order being processed. You will tracking the transportation and distribution of inventory. You will maintain a good working relationship with corporate manager, Deere management, and shipping carriers. We do a yearly PPE review with designated individuals.

Qualifications & Benefits

  • Must have excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Ability to communicate with the customer, customer service reps and account reps in a professional manner
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Must have good computer skills with knowledge of MS Office software
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds
  • Experience with VMI is highly desired
